Very unique and very sought after 2024 Earthroamer SX #20 on the capable Chevrolet 6500 Chassis. This "Pre-Roamed" has unique history and has been photographed from the Southern United States to Prudhoe Bay in the far reaches of Alaska beyond the Arctic Circle. I don't believe you will find a more tested yet maintained SX. The previous owner ended up stepping over to a cab-over configuration to accommodate their ever-loving desire to reach the most remote locations. There are many custom features added before and after the build and many items added from a discerning operator.
I believe this to be the most desirable SX Layout offered, which is the Mount Princeton. It has a slightly shorter galley to accommodate a large full height cabinet between the galley and entry, this space can be used as a pantry, closet, or as it is now, as combination closet and munitions. Seldom do you find a Go-Anywhere Vehicle like this, that is capable of living full time for 2 adults or accommodating a small family or two couples for extended excursions. Couple that with a true 4 season rig that can go places most other vehicles can't.
Earthroamer is a vehicle converter like no other, the push has always been unique expedition vehicles. From their humble beginnings well over two decades ago, the vision from its founder, Bill Swails, set out to build a truck-based camper only seen in other continents. For the first decade plus, they focused on the Ford F-550 Chassis but has transitioned into not only the Ford F-750 Chassis with the HD models, but now the Chevrolet 6500 chassis. I feel the SX is launching a new evolution for Earthroamer allowing dual sleeping groups and a try lounging area for up to six. While many other builders globally use for hard to service and repair chassis, Earthroamer wanted a very serviceable unit that could be maintained by a normal automotive facility. With the focus on just a few floor plan configurations, Earthroamer has been able to content their builds properly while always pushing the envelope.

This SX is no exception with capability and luxury amenities not found in the industry as a whole. Each time I see a new model; I am blown away by the upgrades along with continued focus on fit and finish. I believe Earthroamer has been able maintain this high level of quality and industry leading design by keeping so many facets in house and not outsourcing to vendors focused on the lowest dollar.

Under the hood of this SX is a 350HP (750tq) 6.6l Duramax Diesel mated to an Allison 6 Speed Transmission, the factory equipped dual speed transfer case is great for on and off road. You have Dana Spicer Axles with a 4.30 gear ratio. Gross Vehicle Weight Rating is an impressive 23,500lbs with almost 2,000lbs of carrying capacity and up to 30,000lbs of Gross Carrying Weight Rating. Off course the stock suspension has been upgraded to a proprietary air ride system with massive HD Reservoir Shocks. This gives an impressive yet comfortable ride on the pavement or dirt. Of course, the fuel capacity is also uprated to accommodate 100 Gallons for Fuel. The entire exterior has a proprietary coating to resist scratches yet has a UV rating for the harshest environments. Trees and brush are no match for this unbelievable coating. The rig has a brand-new set of 43" Goodyear Tires along with 2 spares at the rear of the coach. It has been to Chevrolet to get all recalls performed and the chassis has received a complete service.
No other RV offers a full 270-degree view at the rear of a coach to take in breathtaking views of your surroundings while camping in remote locations. No matter if you choose to dine or sleep at the rear of the coach, you will be in constant awe of the views. Of course, all of the dual paned glass allows for an unrestricted view but has the option for bug screens and black out. The hatch in the bunkover is a photographer’s dream or simply allows for a true sleeping under the stars experience.
The systems and redundancy of an Earthroamer is exactly what you would expect from a vehicle that is designed to go to the far ends of the earth. It has a massive 24,000-watt hour Lithium Battery Bank (upgraded from the standard equipped 18,000) mated to dual 3,500-watt Inverters. Pushing all of this is a Solar Array that pumps out 1,600 watts. Of course, if the batteries get low, the chassis will automatically start and provide 200 amps from an Alternator. This massive electrical system has ample power to run the dual 13,500btu Air Conditioners. Heat is provided by 13,500 diesel air heater. The hydronic heating system works in conjugation with the hot water needed on board.
As mentioned above, the floorplan is amazing a unit measuring just over 34ft in length. The dry wall bath with separate walk-in shower has a soothing rain fall shower head and with 120 gallons of water on board, you can enjoy a shower in the most remote locations. In the galley of the coach, you will have a 2-burner induction cooktop, and a large basin sink set in a Quartz Countertop. Across the driver's side of the coach, you will find a combination washer/dryer along with an 8 cu/ft Vitrifrigo Compressor Fridge/Freezer and a ton of storage.
